Traveling between Clinton and Tecumseh, the Southern Michigan Railroad takes people on rail tours from May through December. Riders can enjoy scenic countryside views of Southern Michigan, as the historic tracks wind their way through the land, crossing over the River Raisin twice. The schedule varies day to day, so those interested should call ahead and reserve a ticket. The train can also be booked for special occasions.

The dinner trains provide customers with a five-course meal and a two-and-a-half to three hour ride. Saturday afternoons are reserved for family excursions and private charters can be arranged. Little River Railroad offers antique powered steam engine train rides that tour from Coldwater to Quincy. The tours are every Saturday and Sunday with no reservations necessary. Each tour last approximately an hour and a half.
